Shipping policy

1. Where We Ship

We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, or internationally at this time.


2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

All orders are shipped via UPS using expedited shipping to ensure your beef arrives frozen and in optimal condition. We use insulated packaging with dry ice or gel packs to maintain safe temperatures throughout transit.


3. Processing Time

Order cut-off is Monday at 8:00 am PST. If orders are placed prior to 8:00 am PST on Monday, orders will be processed and shipped Tuesday or occasionally Wednesday. Orders received after 8:00 am Monday will ship the following week.


4. Delivery Timeframes

Once shipped, estimated delivery times are 1-3 days. 

Delivery timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays due to weather, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control may affect delivery times.


5. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your geographical location. 


6. Receiving Your Order

Because our products are perishable, please:

  • Be available to receive your package on the expected delivery date
  • Inspect your package immediately upon arrival
  • Refrigerate or freeze contents promptly — do not leave packages sitting outside for extended periods
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery if there are any concerns about your order

7. Incorrect Addresses & Failed Deliveries

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. Pudding River Beef Company is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an undeliverable address or failed delivery attempt, reshipment will be at the customer's expense.


8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, thawed beyond safe consumption, or is lost in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the packaging and product condition

We will review each situation individually and may offer a replacement or store credit at our discretion. We do not issue refunds for perishable goods — please see our [Refund Policy] for full details.


9. Local Pickup

Local pickup is available at our farm location. Please wait for a confirmation before coming to pick up your order.
